An average of nine artists enjoy our fortnightly Wednesday meetings throughout the seasons.

During the summer, if the weather is fine, we sketch in the garden and intend to try our hand at figure drawing and portraits when we are confined indoors. The summer of 2006 was at times very hot and steamy but some very good work was produced.

We work with pencil, water colour pencil, charcoal, wax crayon and pastel on a variety of subjects: so far we have sketched Lilies, Daisies and various other plants plus birds, animals and other ornaments, including a summer scene comprising a Deck Chair, Table, Book and an Old Panama Hat!
